Postal Delivery

We ship all tuber orders via Priority Mail through the US Postal Service. Customers will receive an email with a tracking number the day your order ships. It is your responsibility to determine when the temperatures in your delivery area is warm enough to avoid freeze damage to your tuber order during transit.

Dahlia seed orders ship once a week beginning in early February.

Your tuber order will ship on the next scheduled shipping date as shown below. Please do not order from us if it is below freezing where you live! We are not responsible for any freeze-related damage during transit.

Local Pickup

Customers who live within driving distance of rural Anacortes, Washington may pick up their dahlia tuber purchases in person at our farm (by appointment) beginning in late March. We can also deliver your order personally within the Anacortes city limits.

Although we are happy to ship order for dahlia tubers, garden-ready potted dahlia plants no not qualify for shipping. These must be picked up in person.

When ordering, use the coupon code LOCAL and your order will be processed without a shipping charge. We will contact you by email to arrange a day and time for you to pick up your dahlias, or for us to deliver them to you in Anacortes.

Dahlia Doctor is a licensed nursery in the state of Washington. Our dahlia tubers, cuttings and plants come with a Nursery Stock Inspection Certificate from the Washington Department of Agriculture.

In accordance with state law, we collect Washington state sales tax on "Local Pickup" selections.
